    55 T-Bird

55 T-Bird This was a treat working on this car. First single stage paint I have ever done. The paint was hammered and Customer just wanted a single step correction. I started with NSP 95, blue hdo pad, and 21mm. It did well, however I wanted a little more cut, so switched to 3D one and went...

Gel Coat slightly dull after polishing

I would try a one step with rupes blue pad or even purple or blue foamed wool pad from lake country if you have them, I would even try it on rotary and see the results.

    2017 GMC Clear coat

I know this person and they bought it new, they actually recently had it repainted after this happened. I washed and waxed it today. Thats how I found out about this other detailer. I detailed one this bad before, however I told owner there was nothing I could do to fix the hood. I did a...

    2017 GMC Clear coat

Fast forward after I took Mike’s class and now, I look forward to grabbing a rotary. He gives you the confidence and show you these skills...

    Dark colored hulls

Just trying to make sure I understand. Second pic is after polishing with foam pad and before sealant? That still seems to me look like some oxidation left causing that. Hard to say without being there. You can try to polish with a softer foam pad and see what happens. Just brain...

    Gimmie your two cents

I think best option would be rinseless wash or detail spray. Optimum ONR or P&S absolute with a wash mitt, optimum sponge, or multiple plush microfibers. Then a good drying towel like autofiber dreadnought. My two cents😀

    Dark colored hulls

You have a picture so we can see what you mean by pad marks? Hazing? What polish are you using to finish with? You sure it’s not oxidation that making it appear that way. If it’s still oxidized when you apply a wax or sealer, it will make it look blotchy and uneven.
