But as far as sanding on you paint, its not as bad as most people think. I have done it many times with ZERO problems. There are a # of factors to consider prior to sanding on your finish, most importantly in my opinion is knowing the history of the paint / finish. Its always good to have a paint thickness meter, and I would say minim thickness is ABOVE 3 mills, preferably 4. I touch up paint frequently with 2500 grit and try not to go lower than 2000- that usually gets it done for me. You can take off more with a rotary & a wool pad with coarse liquid abrasive than say a sheet of 5000 or even 3000
So many factors to consider especially if its a hard clear or on the softer side, weather ists a factory clear or a re- spray with medium or high solids, expeirance matters.

Potrebbe essere che si sia soffermato troppo a lungo in un punto mentre levigava?
