So I read here by Mike Phillips that it's not really the wax or sealant per se that gives the real shine but what you do prior to that.
So I tried an experiment on a 1953 tube tester - on the top I did:
Scholl Concepts S3 XXL Gold;
Scholl Concepts S20;
Scholl Concepts S30+ - two applications...
So I was excited to try the YUM panel wipe yesterday. It's supposed to be strong at what it does.
I received it and it has such a super strong candy smell it is overwhelming and literally unusable to me. I got some on my hands, and I washed them 5 times and STILL had to smell it for hours more...
Got Some More Time in Today with the Rotary + Scholl S3 XXL Gold – Surprising Results
Wanted to get more seat time today with my new flex rotary — working on both technique and testing out Scholl Concepts S3 XXL Gold, their heavy-cut compound (very similar to Menzerna 300 in aggressiveness)...
I was about to order a couple of Rupes white foam pads when I noticed it is specifically named Rupes DA foam pad.
They also seem to offer a Rotary foam pad, though not from where I was going to order them.
I am using the FLEX 14-2 150 rotary. Is there a difference in pads that I need to seek...

-scrub with APC and wipe down;
-Spray with panel cleaner to make sure all the APC is off;
-2 rounds of Scholl Concepts S3 Gold XXL compound with Scholl Purple pad;
- 2 rounds with Scholl's S30+;
- Panel wipe;
- 1 round Scholl W6 sealant/wax;
- 1 round...
