    Dr Beasley Carnauba Paste

While these type of waxes are dying off if not dead, I still enjoy using them. Don’t think this has been made for about a decade now although I could be wrong. :)

    New HF Drill Detailing Brushes

All good points. Great thing is now we have options. As long as the end results are the same. :)

    New HF Drill Detailing Brushes

I see HF has some brush attachments coming out very soon for drills. (Search new tools at HF and you will find them. I didn’t know if Mike allows outside links) 7.99 for 5 brushes looks like a worthwhile gamble. The pics show some cringy usages but for me I would like them for carpets and...

    94 Chevy Corvette

I would proceed with caution. Trying to chase perfection can cost you a paint job. I would sit with your customer and explain the dangers of chasing perfection and offer him a much improved result without sacrificing much clear coat. The only time I chase paint perfection is on repainted cars...

    Dr Beasley's Polishes

Honestly I wasn’t a fan of these compounds or polishes after trying these a few weeks ago. My biggest issue was also the Harder than should be removal. I was in a climate controlled work space.

    Buff Brite Flamethrower

Just cuz it doesn’t appeal to me makes it bad. Just a personal opinion. That company makes some quality products.

    Tire Dressing

I haven’t really been happy with any tire dressing lately. The old Blackfire (prior to PBMG purchasing Blackfire was my favorite. It was a solvent based gel that lasted months. It turned tires jet black without a ghetto shine. Wipe on, wipe off 10 min later and it was perfect looking with zero...

1970 Plymouth Superbird Paint Correction with Dr. Beasley’s by Mike Phillips

These are indeed awesome cars. True icons and anybody who is into car history will sure enjoy the reasons these cars were offered to the public. Fantastic job and write up as usual! Question for you Mike about the polishes….. when I use a compound or polish, it is a liberal amount. At 40$ for...

Question for you Mike - and others

Since you said MP and “others” , I’ll throw my thoughts in. ANY time I messed with any of my free spinning DA machines including backing plates and or washer mods, I have noticed 2 things…….. 1 Smoothness diminished AKA vibrations increased. Maybe only very slightly but still in the wrong...

    pad/polish combo for sealant/coating removal

Here is a crazy way to look at at least coating removal… *An average coating is 1-2 microns thick when first applied. *A great quality 8000 grit sand paper will leave behind a 3 micron scratch(per microscopic scratch) behind on modern clear coats. ((more common is 5000 grit which will leave...

Awesome work, Mike!! Fun cars to buff out… some big flat panels, some sexy curves and no plastic!!!! I hope Speed is not discontinued in the gallon. I just finished a gallon up about a week ago. Autoality has at least one more gallon of it for sale on their page. I better jump on it…

    UV protection for interior

I use only two products for interior protection. Optimum leather plus protectant and Ultima interior guard plus. Both have great protection abilities. The Optimum need more frequent applications. The Ultima is a longer term protectant with a great tactile feel!

Going the Extra Mile Considering Polishing The Hood and Trunk Lids For Customers Who Purchase My Emerald Ceramic Touch Package

You will find the right customers. You nailed it in saying your customers are happy. The word of mouth will spread quick. People often say I’m very expensive but that I’m the best. It’s a reputation I hold proudly. I have fixed quite a few vehicles in my time after someone else “detailed” them...
