Really learn a lot from Mike He is hands on. He knows his stuff! I’m already putting myself to the test with what I learned at his lass. After I finished the paint correction on one side of my black truck, I was very happy with the results. Next, I moved on to the other side today and everything Mike taught started to fall into place!
Thank you for teaching an old dog some new tricks. Hardest part is counting to eight when counting out my Section Passes.

I took the 3-day training with Mike in Stuart, FL. We worked on some classic cars, modern cars, and a 25’ NauticStar Center Console Boat. The training was everything Mike said it would be in the advertisements. Mike was well prepared and ready to teach every day. We had a large class size (15 people), but Mike made sure that he gave every person his personal attention. He is very personable and makes sure that every student learns and succeeds.
I would highly recommend this class if you want to take your detailing skills to the next level.

My son and I searched high and low for a program that offered knowledge, experience, know-how, and hands-on opportunities and Mike’s course was packed with all four. We cannot tell you what a blessing it was when we happened on these courses being offered by the Master…Mike Phillips!
If you’re looking for a fast-paced, no-nonsense, knowledge-packed course lineup, you’re in the right spot. The learning environment was totally hands-on and Mike was right there alongside us showing, teaching, and answering our myriad of questions. We give this course our highest regard and would recommend to anyone without hesitation.
Case in point…there were two people in our class that were attending for a 10th time!! Ask yourself…who would place the same investment 10X for something that wasn’t worth it or didn’t produce results? The answer….NO ONE! Invest in yourself…enroll in Mike’s course today!

As my wife and I started to build our detailing business it was obvious that training had to be a cornerstone if we wanted to be successful. We also needed to find a brand that we could grow with. 3D and Mike Phillips provide both. At 58 years old it was a bit intimidating starting a new career, but after talking to Mike it was a no-brainer that his class was where I needed to be.
Mike is a great teacher and takes his classes seriously. He teaches in a way that sets you up for success. I would highly recommend his 3 day class.

My Father Marc and I got the chance to spend the weekend taking Mike's class and left feeling informed and enriched with enthusiasm for the detailing industry more than ever! Even in a room of 15-20 people, Mike gives everyone plenty of one on one time to assist where he sees you may be having trouble. From the first moment you walk into the training garage you get the sense that you are in a true professionals shop, everything is clean, organized, and well lit.
Mike will show you what it means to not only detail at a higher skill level, but also how to be truly profitable if you detail for a profession, and to me that was the most valuable skill set one can learn being that we are in the industry as professionals.
If are on the fringe making a decision whether the price tag is worth it or not, DO IT!

If you are a pro or just like to take good care of your car collection, take this class. I took Mike's class last year and it was an incredible learning experience for me. If you are just getting started in detailing or you have been detailing for many years, you will learn something in this class. The 3-day class will teach everything you need to know about washing, preparing, and coating a vehicle and/or a boat.
We learned about the chemicals, how to use the polishers, even the correct way to hold a microfiber towel! Not only are you learning, but we are working on awesome cars. My fav’s were the Dodge Viper, a C8 Corvette, a Cadillac Limousine, and in the picture, that’s me on a Ferrari. Not only was the class great, but so is Mike. He is a great guy, full of lot’s of stories and he made it a lot of fun.

If you are interested in taking a class on how to perform proper vehicle detailing, then this class with Mike Phillips as the instructor is the one to take. Mike uses his vast knowledge of techniques to show you how to make a car or boat look great using some amazing 3D products. This is an active class where you spend most of your time doing instead of sitting. After showing you the proper way to perform a task, Mike walks around providing encouragement and tips to all of the students while they apply what they learned on a real car or boat.
I definitely recommend this class.

I have followed Mike since the Meguiar's forums and have always liked his straight forward approach to teaching his trade. I finally decided to come take a class in person and was not disappointed. You learn a lot in 3 long days and meet a lot of good people. The class is nonstop information and hands on training. I have been buffing cars as a side hustle for years now and learned a lot of time saving tricks and processes while in the class.
I really enjoyed trying some of the cordless tools before making a decision to buy (I’ll be getting the cordless FLEX rotary). The class was great overall experience and the people working with Mike, like Clint, Chris, James, Craig and I’m sure I am missing one or two really made the class run smooth.

I tell my classic car friends this class should be called Detailing Boot Camp! Lots to learn and practice your skills with real vintage & classic cars. Since I'm an owner of a small private collection, unlike most of the students who were detailing professionals, I was a little intimidated at first but soon became comfortable with Mike's excellent skills sharing and demonstrations. The hands-on experience was great and the camaraderie was wonderful. Everyone is class was so helpful and I learned a lot from the pros in class who shared there own knowledge and experience with me.
I was initially concerned about the pace of the class given my age, but soon was caught up with the experience and excitement of other participants. I do believe, hands down, this class is the best investment you can make if you want to learn from the best, whether you’re in the business or an enthusiast like me.

Just completed this 1959 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite! Paint was a 30 year old single stage paint. This would've taken me a longer time to correct via my old paint correction routine. 3D products used in this correction cut my time in half! Love, love this stuff. It is now my go to products.

This course is the best investment you can make whether you’re a pro, YouTube certified or just entering the scene. I say investment because no matter your skill you will learn practical skills in this class that will save you time and money. You’re learning from the Mike Phillips who has been TRAINING detailers for 25+ years while writing books and articles and refining the techniques the whole time.
I personally had read a lot and watched hours of footage online but nothing compares to having your hands on tools doing it on real cars. Then bring in 3D products, which are top of the line. I’ve never seen a system where you can jump from compounding with a wool pad to polishing with a foam pad and have a glossy finish. 2 Steps! That alone pays for the course in hours and product.
You get to work on old repainted classics to the newest off-the-lot sports cars with any of the array of FLEX products to see what works best for you. And the class size is just enough that get some freedom but no lack of 1-on-1 to get pointers and your questions answered. I highly recommend this for anyone and I plan to do it again in the future and bring more of our staff out to do the training as well.
As a last note to anyone has read this far: there is a lot of false data and marketing hype out there. “techniques” which are added complexity to push some product or get clickbait. Nothing beats the fundamentals. And Mike delivers those fundamentals in this class that all future training can build on. There’s no hype here. Just plain simple facts that will beat the test of time.
No matter what other training you’ve done I recommend you get down to this class and add this experience to your arsenal. It’s tough work and very rewarding.

This was my second time attending Mike Phillips' class. It never disappoints. I became a professional paint correction specialist right after attending my first class with Mike 7 years ago. I've been very successful ever since! I was able to bypass 30 years of trial and error by attending Mike' class. This is the key here---you save time by getting the latest information from the master, Mike Phillips. If he says this stuff is good---I don't question it, I buy it and roll with it. And every product that Mike likes, I have been very successful with. 3D products been the best I’ve seen so far. Loved it so much that I gave away thousands of dollars worth of products I’ve been using fot friends and focus my business model around the 3D product line.

Mike Phillip's 3 Day Detailing Class was amazing. Learning hands-on beats watching a slideshow presentation any day of the week. I came into the class knowing a little bit and I left the class knowing more than I could have imagined. If you are on the line as to if you want to take this class or not I would tell you not to hesitate at all and go ahead and book it, you will NOT regret it at all. The whole team was very friendly and knowledgeable as well which just made for an even better experience.

The best way to learn how to detail is to have state of the art products, tools, a comfortable learning environment and a great instructor. I have been exposed to numerous instructors during my 30 year career in commercial nuclear power operations. Mike provides numerous time saving tips throughout this class. He demonstrates the proper way to perform a process and then it’s the students time to improve their skills. There are no classroom chairs to sit in or power points to watch. All the training is hands on – working on cool looking cars! The FLEX tools are the best in the industry and the 3D products work great.
Whether you are a novice detailer wanting to increase your skill set or a seasoned pro looking to increase your knowledge and productivity, then I highly recommend participating in this course.

I took my 1966 ford Fairlane GTA to MIKE for his class. It had recent extensive body repairs and a repaint with the typical body shop cut and buff. At 20 feet, she looked good, but up close not so good. Mike used my car for one of his 3-day detailing classes, what a transformation! The dark blue just pops! The 3D products and the techniques Mike teaches are by far superior than what the body shop used after they painted my car. The classes he teaches and the products he uses are the best. Results from Mike Phillips Detailing class I recently had Mike use my 1968 Camaro SS convertible as a demo vehicle for his detailing class. I was more than satisfied with the results. I'd say amazed is a better description of how I felt when I saw the car. What his class was able to do with the paint, the vinyl convertible top and the back plastic window was just fantastic. The car shines like it's wet!

The Mike Phillips 3 Day Detailing Class was one of the most hands on, detail oriented and enlightening classes I’ve ever taken. I’ve taken several classes that were “hands-on” workshop style classes but this one exceeded all others by far!
Mike and the rest of the team were very knowledgeable as well as patient with their teaching practices. I would recommend anyone of any age whether you are looking to get into the profession, already in the profession enhancing your skill set or just a hobbyist to take this class. You won’t regret it!

Z06 corvette My 2003 Corvette was used as a demo car for Mikes class and while I have watched countless videos over the years and have been using his products I never expected to see the transformation he gave me. I literally thought he had the car painted and was playing a prank on me. While I thought my paint looked pretty good it now looks better then a brand new one. I was thoroughly impressed and have been showing my car off when I ever I get the chance. I literally fell in love with my car again. Absolutely stunning results. Thank you to all that worked on it!!

I found out about this program very last minute. 3:00pm the day before the class started in fact. I live in New York so that meant I had to book a plane, hotel and pack in about 2 hrs to make my flight. I didn’t know much about 3D other than their one polish and carpet extraction shampoo. I had only judged the class off the title, details section, and a few nice reviews left on this page. So you could say I was weary of what was to come and weather or not I had just wasted my time and money away from my business. I can confidently say that I did not. It was quite the opposite.
he material and delivery of the program was outstanding and you could tell it was being taught by a 30+ year detailing veteran. At the end of the class Mike helped in every way he could to get my IDA Certificate, even though he was run down from the 3 days prior (can’t thank him enough for that).
The people that worked there were super friendly and helpful. And the other students that were there with me, many of whom were also professional detailers, were also super kind and helpful. Everyone just wanted to help everyone have the best experience possible. This class has a 5 Star rating for a reason. If you on the fence of between whether or not you should go, please let me be the one to push you over. You will not regret it!

My name is Kyle, and I just started my detailing journey. As a new detailer I wanted to gain some basic knowledge and skills to set myself up for success and give my business a foundation to build on, that is where Mike’s class comes in. From day one to day three you will be hands-on! There are NO CHAIRS! Not only will you be learning from a world class professional, you will also be using professional grade tools such as FLEX power tools. By the end of day three I felt comfortable using a dual action polisher, rotary polisher, different pads and compounds and a sander.
Most detailers dream of working on high end vehicles, street rods and classic cars. Well guess what? At Mike's class, you actually do it! I’m talking timeless vehicles and true show cars! A real hands on education!
I just completed Mike's class. I am an experienced detailer, and still learned a lot from the class. How to get the results we are always looking for but on top of that, fast and efficiently! I learned a lot more about the machines and what makes them work better and why. Lots of very good information even for the most experienced, and no question is a bad question. Mike has no problem demonstrating, helping, answering questions and not only answering questions but explain the “why?”

100% Hands On Training
I definitely made the right choice flying all the way to Florida from Alaska for this class. I looked at every class on the market but they didn't have Mike Phillips and they didn't have much time actually working on actual cars. This class gives you the time you need on the all the tools to get comfortable with them. I went in never using a rotary and came out 100% confident on using it. There were 0 Demo Hoods! We worked nothing but real cars and a lots of them! We covered every issue you could run into on a vehicle. The people that chose this class were there to get better and great to work with.

Take This Class!!!
If you are YouTube trained, stop what you're doing and book the next class!!! Until this class I was YouTube trained. I bought a thousand products, not really having a clear sense of the steps to detail a car. The techniques covered on the first day knocked hours off my detailing process. Every topic is covered, demonstrated, and HANDS-ON!
Mike doesn't just demonstrate and throw you to the wolves, either. Mike and crew take the time to come around and work with you individually. But the most important thing I got from the class was confidence. I am confident I will be able to serve every customers need, from a simple maintenance wash to sanding paint. I will be attending Mike’s class again!
Quick shout out to 3D products. I only used SPEED up util this point. We worked on cars and boats in a variety of conditions. 3D products performed! They handled everything we threw at them. I am now a 3D product guy!

Excellent detailing class I received hands on experience for 3 full days. I learned proper methods and techniques to paint correct, polish and ceramic coat vehicles and boats. Worked on 9 real vehicles and 2 boats. I received the opportunity to use so many different tools and products. Adults learn by doing! If you truly want to learn and gain the confidence to detail vehicles or boats this is the best class you can take. My Father Marc and I got the chance to spend the weekend taking Mike's class and left feeling informed and enriched with enthusiasm for the detailing industry more than ever! Even in a room of 15-20 people, Mike gives everyone plenty of one on one time to assist where he sees you may be having trouble. From the first moment you walk into the training garage you get the sense that you are in a true professionals shop, everything is clean, organized, and well lit.

If you are a pro or just like to take good care of your car collection, take this class. I took Mike's class last year and it was an incredible learning experience for me. If you are just getting started in detailing or you have been detailing for many years, you will learn something in this class. The 3-day class will teach everything you need to know about washing, preparing, and coating a vehicle and/or a boat.
We learned about the chemicals, how to use the polishers, even the correct way to hold a microfiber towel! Not only are you learning, but we are working on awesome cars. My fav’s were the Dodge Viper, a C8 Corvette, a Cadillac Limousine, and in the picture, that’s me on a Ferrari. Not only was the class great, but so is Mike. He is a great guy, full of lot’s of stories and he made it a lot of fun.

I have followed Mike since the Meguiar's forums and have always liked his straight forward approach to teaching his trade. I finally decided to come take a class in person and was not disappointed. You learn a lot in 3 long days and meet a lot of good people. The class is nonstop information and hands on training. I have been buffing cars as a side hustle for years now and learned a lot of time saving tricks and processes while in the class.
I really enjoyed trying some of the cordless tools before making a decision to buy (I’ll be getting the cordless FLEX rotary). The class was great overall experience and the people working with Mike, like Clint, Chris, James, Craig and I’m sure I am missing one or two really made the class run smooth.

I tell my classic car friends this class should be called Detailing Boot Camp! Lots to learn and practice your skills with real vintage & classic cars. Since I'm an owner of a small private collection, unlike most of the students who were detailing professionals, I was a little intimidated at first but soon became comfortable with Mike's excellent skills sharing and demonstrations. The hands-on experience was great and the camaraderie was wonderful. Everyone is class was so helpful and I learned a lot from the pros in class who shared there own knowledge and experience with me.
I was initially concerned about the pace of the class given my age, but soon was caught up with the experience and excitement of other participants. I do believe, hands down, this class is the best investment you can make if you want to learn from the best, whether you’re in the business or an enthusiast like me.

This course is the best investment you can make whether you’re a pro, YouTube certified or just entering the scene. I say investment because no matter your skill you will learn practical skills in this class that will save you time and money. You’re learning from the Mike Phillips who has been TRAINING detailers for 25+ years while writing books and articles and refining the techniques the whole time.
I personally had read a lot and watched hours of footage online but nothing compares to having your hands on tools doing it on real cars. Then bring in 3D products, which are top of the line. I’ve never seen a system where you can jump from compounding with a wool pad to polishing with a foam pad and have a glossy finish. 2 Steps! That alone pays for the course in hours and product.
You get to work on old repainted classics to the newest off-the-lot sports cars with any of the array of FLEX products to see what works best for you. And the class size is just enough that get some freedom but no lack of 1-on-1 to get pointers and your questions answered. I highly recommend this for anyone and I plan to do it again in the future and bring more of our staff out to do the training as well.
As a last note to anyone has read this far: there is a lot of false data and marketing hype out there. “techniques” which are added complexity to push some product or get clickbait. Nothing beats the fundamentals. And Mike delivers those fundamentals in this class that all future training can build on. There’s no hype here. Just plain simple facts that will beat the test of time.
No matter what other training you’ve done I recommend you get down to this class and add this experience to your arsenal. It’s tough work and very rewarding.

The best way to learn how to detail is to have state of the art products, tools, a comfortable learning environment and a great instructor. I have been exposed to numerous instructors during my 30 year career in commercial nuclear power operations. Mike provides numerous time saving tips throughout this class. Z06 corvette My 2003 Corvette was used as a demo car for Mikes class and while I have watched countless videos over the years and have been using his products I never expected to see the transformation he gave me. I found out about this program very last minute. 3:00pm the day before the class started in fact. I live in New York so that meant I had to book a plane, hotel and pack in about 2 hrs to make my flight. I didn’t know much about 3D other than their one polish and carpet extraction shampoo. I had only judged the class off the title, details section, and a few nice reviews left on this page. So you could say I was weary of what was to come and weather or not I had just wasted my time and money away from my business. I can confidently say that I did not. It was quite the opposite.
he material and delivery of the program was outstanding and you could tell it was being taught by a 30+ year detailing veteran. At the end of the class Mike helped in every way he could to get my IDA Certificate, even though he was run down from the 3 days prior (can’t thank him enough for that).

I just completed Mike's class. I am an experienced detailer, and still learned a lot from the class. How to get the results we are always looking for but on top of that, fast and efficiently! I definitely made the right choice flying all the way to Florida from Alaska for this class. I looked at every class on the market but they didn't have Mike Phillips and they didn't have much time actually working on actual cars. This class gives you the time you need on the all the tools to get comfortable with them. I went in never using a rotary and came out 100% confident on using it. There were 0 Demo Hoods! If you are YouTube trained, stop what you're doing and book the next class!!! Until this class I was YouTube trained. I bought a thousand products, not really having a clear sense of the steps to detail a car. The techniques covered on the first day knocked hours off my detailing process. Mike doesn't just demonstrate and throw you to the wolves, either. Mike and crew take the time to come around and work with you individually. But the most important thing I got from the class was confidence. I am confident I will be able to serve every customers need, from a simple maintenance wash to sanding paint. I will be attending Mike’s class again!
Quick shout out to 3D products. I only used SPEED up util this point. We worked on cars and boats in a variety of conditions. 3D products performed! They handled everything we threw at them. I am now a 3D product guy!

Mike Phillips 3 Day Detailing Class
Excellent detailing class I received hands on experience for 3 full days. I learned proper methods and techniques to paint correct, polish and ceramic coat vehicles and boats. Worked on 9 real vehicles and 2 boats. I received the opportunity to use so many different tools and products. Adults learn by doing! If you truly want to learn and gain the confidence to detail vehicles or boats this is the best class you can take. Mike Phillips is a natural teacher, I am so glad I carved out the time to take this class, well worth the cost and time.
This class exceeded any expectations I had going into it.
