How to Correctly Use ANY brand of Spray-On Ceramic Coating

Here’s a very short video, (it’s actually a TV Commercial that airs on “My Classic Car” with Dennis Gage), showing in 30 seconds, (not a lot of time), on how to correctly use a spray-on ceramic coating.

The benefit is it’s fast and easy and you can use it on both the paint and the PPF. It will create a hydrophobic surface that stay clean longer and make washing and drying faster, easier and safer. The KEY is to understand this is the real deal, that is it’s a true ceramic coating. Some products might say they are ceramic, but they are not true ceramics.

The key to application for ANY brand of real spray on coating is to use the 2-Towel Method, which means you fold and spray only ONE side of the folded microfiber towel with the product and use this side to apply the coating onto the car. Technically, you could also use the MULTIPLE towel method, which means you still use a SINGLE towel to apply the coating, but you can use multiple towels for the leveling and wipe-off. (subtle difference)

You DON’T spray the product directly onto the car, or a body panel, BECAUSE if you get any overspray onto the car and the overspray is for the most part INVISIBLE – and if you don’t realize it and then WIPE the overspray off, like a REAL ceramic coating, it will harden like Super Glue and then you’ll have to polish the area to get it off.

Thus, the correct way to apply a spray on coating is to spray AWAY from the car, (like I show in the video and then use the towel to apply the coating. Keep misting the one side of the folded towel with more product as you work around the car.

And always SPRAY AWAY FROM THE CAR to avoid accidental overspray.

Here's the full-length how-to video with Dennis Gage. And remember, what I share in the below video is a technique that in my opinion and experience, should be used with any true spray-on ceramic coating.
