Hello Mike !
I have been looking at the Rag Company wash mitt. Specifically the cyclone mitts.
Your thoughts please.
I know i need to order at least 6 mitts.
I spent 12 hours polishing the car out.
I don't want to go through that process for a long while.
The car has ceramic wax on the panels.
Also i need a recommendation for soap and a ceramic detail spray. Thank you! Nick

I think these are the mitts you're talking about?

If so, they are are like a GYEON wash mitt I reviews when it was first introduced. Looks like the same type of fibers. And I see other companies selling this same type of wash mitt. Here's my thoughts,

The design of the fibers is OPEN - that is the wash mitt is made up of millions of individual fibers. And here's the deal, as long as you can keep this design from becoming contaminated, then they are a great, soft, gentle wash mitt for doing Maintenance Washes - not Prep Wash. So keep them off the ground and pre-rinse your car to remove any contaminants from getting embedded or [lodged[/b] inside the millions of fibers.

Here's a close-up picture I took of the GYEON version.

Easily contaminated - difficult to un-contaminate.

This is why I like this style, the caterpillar-like fingers can swish around when being washed in a washing machine and from my experience, they come out clean and uncontaminated without a lot of focused attention on your part. With millions of individual fibers, you're going to want to carefully inspect them after you wash and dry them every time.

One simply thing you can do to keep this style of wash mitt from becoming contaminated over time is to always have a clean place to put each wash mitt after washing a panel or two. Look for the super simple clean bucket idea I share in this video.
