Where to get a 5" Backing Plate for the Harbor Freight Hercules Forced Rotation Dual Action Polisher? by Mike Phillips

I get a lot of questions about car detailing via email and/or all the different types of ways we communicate on social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
I never mind answering people, but with email, only ONE set of eyeballs see the answers. Yet we all know, if one person has a question, it's highly likely other people have the same question. So, in order to LEVERAGE my typing time, (I'm on the clock so there must be a benefit to the company), I simply answer questions on this forum.
PLUS - Google does a GREAT job of analyzing the content on this forum and then ranks it high in the search results. So helping one person, ends up helping a lot of other people and that's what I'm all about.

I purchased the Hercules 6" forced rotation polisher and would like to drop down to a 5" backing plate and pads but can't seem to locate them anywhere. Can you please give me some advice on where to look?

Hi Rob,
The backing plate you're looking for is the FLEX 4 3/8" optional backing plate for the original beast, the FLEX XC 3401 VRG aka the BEAST. The only place I know of to order this online is via Detail King. I have zero affiliation.
Detail King Flex XC 3401 Mini 4 3/8" Backing Plate - $40.00
