Where to get a FLEX Polisher fixed - Powerhouse Distributing
I DON'T get asked very often about where to send a FLEX tool for maintenance or repair, but when I do, I wrote this article so I can simply share the link via text or email.

For what it's worth, I've never had any of the dozens of FLEX tools I've used over the decades in my classes break or stop working. About the only thing that has ever worn out for all the FLEX polishers I've had for my classes is the BACKING PLATE.
The HOOK portion on he face of he backing plate NATURALLY wears-out with use. The plastic hooks stretch each time you remove a buffing pad and after enough stretching, they simply STOP holding on to the LOOP surface on the back of buffing pads.
So EXPECT IT - and purchase a spare backing plate BEFORE you need one.
Here's link to the factory 5.5" backing plate
Flex XC 3401 VRG 5.5" Backing Plate
Here's link to smaller 4 3/8" backing plate (I never use these, but I know some people want one)
Flex XC 3401 Mini 4 3/8" Backing Plate
