Finalized and Confirmed Cars for this class

full

It's GO TIME!
This is the first of three 2-day classes for 2026 in Stuart, Florida. You train on real cars, usually really cool cars. The first day starts with how to use the rotary polisher and this is key because on the second day, after wet sanding and machine dry sanding a custom paint job, you're going to need your rotary polisher skills to remove 100% of the sanding marks.

Class Descriptions

Topics Covered on Saturday
Starting at 7:30am sharp, you will learn 3 primary topics plus more topics depending upon the needs of each training car.

1. 3-Step Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating - Also called Show Car Detailing. This would be your High-End Exterior Detail Package.

2. 2-Step Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating - if you detail for money, this would be your Mid-Range Exterior Detail Package.

3. 1-Step Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating - This is your entry level, Budget Exterior Detail Package.

Besides the above, we cover as many topics as were' able depending upon the needs of the training cars,

  • Topical Glass Polishing – all cars
  • Black Plastic Trim Restoration
  • Headlight correction
  • Rock Chip Repair
  • Pad cleaning with pad washers
  • How to do a proper Test Spot – all cars including sanding cars
  • Paint Thickness Gauges
  • Surface evaluation with Detailometer
  • How to use inspection lights
  • How to tape-off and protect trim and delicate surfaces
  • And more – depends on time and needs of car

As you can see, these are very intense and busy classes. Please wear comfortable work clothes and shoes

Topics covered on Sunday
On the second day, we bring in cool cars with custom paint jobs with plenty of orange peel and unwanted surface texture. You will learn how to sand and buff a car to remove orange peel and create a show car finish. With most other classes, you only get to sand on demo hoods or test panels. We bring in the real deal because there's more to learn when sanding an actual car than a flat surface, waist high.
  1. Wet Sanding by Hand using Nikken Electronics Grade Finishing Papers to level Orange Peel.
  2. Dry Sanding by Machine using Eagle Abrasives by KOVAX and FLEX Cordless Orbital Sanders.
  3. Rotary Polishers - You will learn American Style Rotary Techniques - (faster and more efficient than European Style).
  4. Gear-Driven Orbital Polishers - Learn how to master the BEAST!
  5. Free Spinning, Random Orbital Polishers - Learn how to maintain Pad Oscillation/Pad Rotation.
  6. How to prep the paint for a Ceramic Coating.
  7. How to install a Ceramic Coatings.
The second day is more intense than the first day, so keep that in mind and get to bed early on Saturday night after the Dr. Beasley's sponsored Meet and Greet Dinner at Fresh Catch.

General Info
  • No chairs
  • Zero sitting
  • Zero PowerPoint presentations
  • We start at 7:30am SHARP
  • Class goes until all topics and cars are completed - around 5:00pm
  • Depending upon size of class you will train on 4 to 8 cars over the course of two days
  • Framed Certificate

A lot of people attending our classes bring their families and are looking for fun things to do with their kids while mom or dad are at the class. Below are a few resources to get you started.

Bathtub Beach in Jensen Beach - Very close to Stuart
1585 SE MacArthur Blvd, Stuart, FL 34996
This is a easy to access beach with an artificial reef separating it from the ocean, which acts to keep out sharks for a family friendly and kid-safe ocean swimming experience. I'm a distance swimmer myself and always feel safe when I go swimming at Bathtub Beach.

We're different, we've always been different and we document it!
Unlike all the other classes on planet Earth, we show you the cars you'll be training on BEFORE the class.

If you look at ANY other class, all you'll see is a picture of a dude running a buffer over the hood of a car, next to the picture is a bulleted list sharing the topics you'll get to learn, BUT NO PICTURES of the actual cars for this class. And the reason why is because in most cases, there are no cars. If you get to use a polisher or sand at all, it's going to be on a Demo Hood or a Test Panel. If you're really lucky, they may have a rental car or something from the parking lot. So do your research so you're not disappointed with the class you choose.

Here are the 3 Primary Topics you will learn on the first day of class
  1. Show Car Detailing - Multiple-Step Paint Correction Process - Starting with Rotary Polishers.
  2. Two-Step Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating - Starting with Orbital Polishers.
  3. One-step Ceramic AIO - Budge Detail - Daily Driver Detail - Your choice of any of the $50,000.00 worth of polishers in our shop.

Saturday Paint Correction and Ceramic Coating Training Cars
Below are training cars confirmed for this 2-day class.

Topic 1 - Show Car Detailing - Multiple-Step Paint Correction Process - Starting with Rotary Polishers

1965 Plymouth Valiant - BARN FIND - Freshly shipped from California to Florida for this clas.

Topic 2 - Two-Step Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating - Starting with Orbital Polishers.

2022 Chevrolet Camaro RS LT1

Here's a well cared for 2022 Camaro, but over time it has the normal light swirls and scratches that build-up in the paint over time. This will be a GREAT training car for the second topic for this day.

These numbers don't actually look bad
But your eyes can see the paint is definitely not flat and there's lots of room for improvement. Sanding will flatten out the paint, then buffing will restore gloss and clarity. I expect to see much higher readings for the DOI and the RIQ after you're done sanding, buffing and ceramic coating this 1963 Impala.

Rotary Polishers
The FIRST tool you will train on is the Rotary Polisher. Class starts at 7:30am sharp and after prepping the first car for paint correction, you will have a rotary polisher in your hands by 8:30am!

We have 28 rotary polishers in the Stuart, Florida shop. This includes the newest tools from FLEX, RUPES and Harbor Freight.

full

Here's why I start you out on the rotary polisher first. There's an old saying that goes like this,

Use the right tool for the job

Sometimes, the right tool, the BEST tool for the job is the rotary polisher. And because on Sunday I need my class to have rotary experience when it comes time to remove the sanding marks out of the paint on the sanding training cars, we start with the rotary first thing on Saturday morning and continue to hone your skills throughout the day anytime the rotary is needed.

When you leave our class, you will,
  1. Know HOW to correctly and safely use a rotary polisher.
  2. Know WHEN to use the rotary polisher.
  3. And you'll have CONFIDENCE in yourself when using the rotary polisher.

Knowing how and when to use a rotary polisher is a vital skill you will appreciate the rest of your life.

Wet Sanding by Hand
There's a number of ways to sand car paint to flatten orange peel. In our classes, we start with the most important sanding skill and that's how to correclty HAND WET SAND. For this we use the Nikken Finishing Papers, which are an electronics grade of sandpaper, much higher quality than automotive wet/dry sandpapers. We also use medium density soft blocks, not hard blocks and you'll learn why in the class.

Machine Dry Sanding
After you learn how to wet sand by hand, the next skill you'll learn is how to machine dry sand to refine the hand sanding scratches to a finer or more shallow depth that will be faster, easier and safer to remove using a rotary polisher. For this you'll train using sanding discs from Eagle Abrasives by KOVAX and FLEX cordless DA Sanders, including the FX3411 and the PXE-80.

Here's a recent example showing these sanding tools at one of our past classes.

As a new practice, we have a car or two here that need sub-surface glass polishing. This is a great SKILL SET and KNOWLEDGE BASE to have under your belt. There's simply NOT enough time to cover these topics during the normal hours of the Saturday/Sunday class, so if you get into town the day before, you can take this class, acquire these skills and knowledge for free as a part of taking the 2-day weekend class.
