Here's a video showing the current condition of the paint.

Here's a few pictures I took of the Corvette outside under bright overhead sunlight and also in the garage using a swirl finder light.

If you're reading this and thinking about taking this or any of our classes, after seeing the how we not only show all the cars for our classes BEFORE you sign-up, we also document the before condition via pictures and videos.

You can easily see the cars you'll be training on - try to find this with any other class. Try.

I just confirmed this 1993 Mazda Miata Eunos Roadster Vspec for the May Class.

UNIQUE ISSUE: This car came from the factory with a SINGLE STAGE paint job. Over the years, some of the body panels have been repainted using a modern basecoat/clearcoat paint system. Because single stage oxidizes more readily than clearcoats paints, the original body panels all look oxidized, while the repainted body panels only have swirls and scratches. In this class, you will lean how to fix this.

Holograms and Swirls make this 1965 Corvette look UGLY
And in this upcoming class, we'll show you how to remove all the holograms and swirls to restore a show car finish.

This will one of the first cars you train on first thing Saturday morning. You will start out using a wool pad on a rotary polisher to cut the finish to remove the holograms, swirls, scratches and oxidation. Then you'll switch over to gear-driven polishers to create a true show car finish.

HOLOGRAMS! In the black paint on this 2022 Genesis G70.

This is 1 of 8 Training Cars for this upcoming class.

The hood was the only body panels without holograms but it still has swirls and some type of bonded contaminants on the paint that will need to be removed via claying.
