Everyone I know has said to polish prior to having a PPF applied, that the paint should be "bare naked". Then I "assume" the installers wipe each pannell down with some type of IPA just prior to installing. My main question is would using DB- Z1 interfeer with the adhearance of the PPF film?

I've only installed PPF one time as a part of a class I attended in Chicago. Because I knew this is something I didn't actually want to do my knowledge base is very limited but I'm confident the PPF installers do in fact have a prep protocol they follow to ensure success.

Dr. Beasely's Z! contains ceramic protection in it - so I would not use it as a prep polish for PPF.

Any of our other NSP Primers would be very safe.
